For this year’s focus on Data Visualisation, we have invited a number of experts to contribute. These are Yuri Engelhardt (University of Amsterdam, www.yuriweb.com), Raul Nino Zambrano (University of Amsterdam, IDFA) and Andrew Vande Moere (www.infosthetics.com). I am honoured that they want to share their thoughts in this blog.

Throughout the festival, we will discuss different topics and projects, hoping to get a grasp on what datavisualisation is, where it came from and how it both influences and borrows from documentary filmmaking. If you have any specific questions, please let us know in the comments.
